Description

• Conduct evaluations in inpatient or outpatient environments and establish tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress following both facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure seamless coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
