Job Description Our client, a large Pacific Northwest-based natural resources and real estate company, is looking for a Strategic HR Business Partner (Finance) . This contract role will serve as the primary strategic HR partner to senior Finance leadership and their organizations, supporting a predominantly salaried Finance population across a range of HR disciplines. Location: Seattle, WA – Hybrid (onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs) Duration: Approximately 6 months Compensation: $55 – $65 per hour. Additional Compensation: This position is not eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Benefits: Benefits available to eligible employees or consultants may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick leave, retirement savings plans, and other employer sponsored programs. *US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.* *Work sponsorship is not currently available.* Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to serve as the dedicated strategic HR partner to their Enterprise Finance Vice Presidents and their teams on a six-month contract engagement. Operating with a high degree of independence, this individual will support compensation planning, performance review cycles, organizational design, change management, and employee relations across the Finance function. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility quickly at the VP level. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary HR partner to Enterprise Finance senior leadership and their organizations - Support functional-level compensation planning and performance review cycles for the Finance function - Build trusted advisory relationships with Finance VPs, translating business priorities into actionable HR and talent strategies - Provide counsel on organizational design and change management, including risk assessment and implementation of sustainable solutions - Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to define role requirements and accelerate hiring for critical positions - Lead employee relations matters and workplace investigations from initiation through documented resolution, balancing employee advocacy with risk management and consistent policy application Qualifications: - 8–10 years of HR Business Partner or related HR experience - Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Audit, or Corporate Functions - Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems across a range of HR issue types - Strong change management and communications capability - Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale organizational redesign, operating model changes, and workforce restructuring - Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments - Proven ability to quickly establish credibility and working partnerships with executive-level leaders - Strong executive presence with senior and executive-level audiences - BA/BS in Human Resources or a related field Nice to Have: - Prior experience providing HR support across a geographically dispersed workforce - Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms About Hansell Tierney: Hansell Tierney is one of the premier staffing and recruiting companies in the Pacific Northwest.
