Sales Engineer

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Associate Sales Engineer who can bridge the gap between customer needs and technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in low voltage systems, security integration, audio/visual technologies, or network infrastructure who enjoys collaborating with customers, developing solutions, and supporting projects from concept through implementation. What You’ll Do Meet with customers to understand operational challenges and technical requirements. Design and recommend integrated solutions including: Access Control Video Surveillance (CCTV) Intrusion Detection Audio/Video Systems Mass Notification & Paging Structured Cabling Communications Systems Conduct site surveys and gather project requirements. Develop scopes of work, system designs, proposals, and estimates. Create and review system layouts, drawings, and technical documentation. Partner with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution. Present solutions to customers and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer product lines. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Electronic Security Access Control Video Surveillance Audio/Visual Systems Structured Cabling Low Voltage Systems Integration Ability to conduct customer-facing presentations and technical discussions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates. Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the region as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with platforms such as: Genetec Avigilon LenelS2 Milestone Verkada Axis Knowledge of network infrastructure and IP-based systems. AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visio, or similar design software experience. Manufacturer certifications and/or industry certifications are highly valued. Why Join NC Sound?
