The Store Manager oversees a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 employees, ensuring efficient store operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires leadership in managing sales, inventory, and staff scheduling while maintaining budgetary control and visual merchandising standards. The manager also facilitates staff training and development, supports reporting activities, and travels occasionally for meetings and training sessions.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 6-15 employees to achieve store goals
• Manage inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Drive sales management to meet and exceed targets
• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Oversee budget management to control costs and maximize profitability
• Implement effective visual merchandising strategies to enhance store appeal
• Prepare and analyze regular operational and financial reports
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills
• Ensure smooth daily store operations and compliance with company policies
