Emergency Medicine Physician

• Job Setting: Level II Trauma Center; 342-bed hospital; Annual ED Volume of 47,000; EMR: Epic
• Types of Cases: High-volume Emergency Department

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified through one of the following:
  • American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
  • American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
  • American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)
  • American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • ATLS
  • PALS (if not ABEM Board Certified)
  • NRP (required for non-ABEM providers)
  • ECFMG certification required for international medical graduates
• Licensure:
  • Active, unrestricted Tennessee Medical License
  • Active DEA registration with Tennessee address
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required hospital privileges
  • Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
  • Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine Residency (3 years)
  • New graduates accepted; Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months are eligible
