Join Valeo and revolutionize the comfort and well-being of all passengers!The Quality Technician is responsible for the administrative activities associated with processing warranty claims and resolving customers' concerns on product failures.You Will:Service/repair/replace HVAC systems on buses when requiredWork closely with the Valeo TCV (Thermal Commercial Vehicles) Engineering and Quality teams to address customer concernsPerform Quick Response Quality Control process to support continuous improvement Initiatives.Maintaining a permanent dialogue with quality staff at the customer siteConstantly communicating customer expectations to siteConduct full maintenance training courses on various heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for transit bus and school bus systems to mechanics, technicians and management teamsMay train other team members on various maintenance practices for the various systems offer by Valeo TCVMeet regularly with the North American Service Manager to provide status on completed workAttend internal meetings as neededComplete field service and training reports and file with North American Service Manager timely and accuratelyFollow standards and work instructions and support the creation of standards when neededEnsures compliance with all safety procedures and standards including, but not limited to, performing tasks safely, wearing required personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean working area and implementing safety improvementsEscalate challenges and impediments to meeting customer's expectations.Maintain highest security protocols to keep sensitive and protected customer and or company information confidential and securedMaintain professional and positive relations with team members.Comply with all company conduct rulesYou Should Have:High School Diploma or GED (college degree is preferred)Work experience with repairs of automotive heating and air conditioning unitsWork Experience with root cause analysis quality systems preferredKnowledge of 600V + electrical systems or ability to read a wiring diagramAbility to read technical drawings and printsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectivelyDetail oriented and accurateHigh degree of accountability and ownershipStrong organization skillsProficiency in computer software- Microsoft Office, Google, etc.Ability to work in a team environmentAble to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to satisfy customers
