Data Center Infrastructure Project Lead

This position does not involve SW Project management. It focuses on NETWORKING/Cisco and Windows server related projects.Only LOCAL Candidates will be consideredApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.The Data Center Project Lead ensures timely project delivery, adherence to budget, and fulfillment of customer expectations.This role is the key individual accountable for successful project completion within the organization.Roles and Responsibilities: Develops comprehensive project plans detailing project team activities and expected timelines. Executes project plans to ensure on-time, budget-compliant, and customer-satisfactory project delivery. Identifies and manages internal and external risk areas throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as needed. Determines technical, physical, and human resources necessary for project completion. Collaborates with the Technology team to ensure adherence to quality processes and methodologies. Coordinates with the Product Manager to ensure clear and complete project requirements. Engages with the QA team to ensure timely completion of quality assurance activities. Provides direction and sets expectations for the project team. Gives ongoing feedback to team members and presents performance evaluations at project completion. Monitors project progress closely to identify potential risk factors such as technical failures, team errors, work delays, etc. Keeps Director, Technology, IT Management team, and business stakeholders informed of project status, including successes and risk factors. Manages 3-5 concurrent projects effectively. Collaborates with IT Management team and technology teams to establish and maintain the IT project roadmap. Works with associates from various departments to complete projects. Collaborates with Technology associates to produce technical project artifacts and ensure adherence to technology standards.Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to communicate at both business and IT technical levels. Networking and server experience Thrives in fast-paced, multitasking, results-driven environments. Capable of building, leading, and directing teams, actively pursuing opportunities and resolving issues by providing necessary product and IT technology information. Project Management certification is a plus. Experience in leading project teams of 5-10 members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Project.
