CNC Maintenance Technician

In this role, you will lead hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance across 3- to 5-axis CNC machines and vital facility systems. If you thrive in a safety-first, fast-paced technical environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• CNC Machinery: Maintain, troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and optimize 3- to 5-axis CNC mills and lathes to maximize uptime and precision.

• Diagnostics: Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo/drive, spindle, turret, alignment, and calibration repairs.

• Preventive Maintenance: Lead PM programs, including lubrication, alignment, spindle run-out, linear guides, coolant systems, and machine leveling.

• Upgrades & Facilities: Support machine installs, relocations, and rebuilds. Maintain plant infrastructure (wiring, PLCs, plumbing, cranes, pumps, air systems).

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts for rigging and setups; maintain certifications.

• Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analyses on recurring failures, implement solutions, and document findings.

• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, quality, and production to drive continuous improvement, machine health monitoring, and cost reductions.

• Safety First: Enforce LOTO, machine guarding, fall protection, daily JSAs, and aerial lift safety protocols.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
