Registered Nurse (RN), Home Health ALL SHIFTS! Job Gurnee, IL Serving Lake Forest, Highland Park, and Libertyville areas $45.00/hour BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital at Home team. If you have a background in Acute Care, Emergency Room (ER), ICU, Med Surge, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care , we want to hear from you. This role provides high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them safely recover while avoiding or reducing hospital stays. Flexible Scheduling Days, evenings, weekends, holidays, part-time, and PRN opportunities available. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to Hospital at Home patients Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring Start and maintain IVs and administer prescribed therapies Perform wound care and dressing changes Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals Maintain accurate clinical documentation Ensure compliance with all HIPAA, regulatory, and quality standards Skills & Qualifications Qualifications Current, unrestricted Illinois RN license Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required Recent Experience in Acute Care, ER, ICU, Med Surge, IV Therapy, and/or Wound Care within the last year or more Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills Current Drivers License, reliable transportation and auto insurance Ability to pass background screening Preferred Home Health or Hospital at Home experience Peripheral IV insertion and maintenance Infusion therapy experience Wound Care certification or advanced wound care experience BSN preferred Why BrightStar Care?
