Pediatric Pulmonologist - MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

Overview Pediatric Pulmonologist The Department of Pediatrics at MedStar Health is seeking a full time Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our clinical, academic and research mission at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH). Responsibilities Provide consultative services in both an inpatient and ambulatory setting (DC and satellite clinics in Maryland). Join a collaborative team of clinicians in multidisciplinary programs such as Aerodigestive, Severe Asthma, and Comprehensive Pediatric Sleep Clinic. Contribute to the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at MGUH, including flexible bronchoscopy, a well-equipped pulmonary function and exercise laboratory, and an accredited Sleep Center. Qualifications MD/DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology Ability to obtain medical licensure in Washington, DC and Maryland Clinical expertise in Pediatric Pulmonology and Flexible Bronchoscopy Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals While not required, additional training in Sleep Medicine is welcome Academic Appointment & Education This position includes a faculty appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine commensurate with experience. Incumbent will have full participation in education of medical students and residents and opportunities for clinical research along with competitive compensation and a generous benefits package.
