Details Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting Day shift schedule 13-week assignment Requirements Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of experience required Degree in Physical Therapy required Proficient computer skills including EMR, Word, and Internet use required Ability to stand, walk, and sit for 8-10 hour workdays Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers and mobility Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs Utilize EMR to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations Familiarity with PT billing policies including Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay Proficiency in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations regarding patient privacy and safety American Traveler Job ID P-751131.
