The Role
- Serve as the clinical leader of the hospital, setting and elevating medical quality standards
- Provide the majority of your schedule in direct patient care while balancing defined leadership duties
- Mentor, coach, and support associate veterinarians; facilitate regular doctor meetings and case reviews
- Champion a positive, team-centered culture that prioritizes patient safety, client communication, and efficient workflows
- Partner closely with the Practice Manager on scheduling, inventory stewardship, clinical protocols, and operational priorities
- Oversee appropriate use and maintenance of medical equipment and support regulatory compliance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives
- Promote accurate, timely medical records and appropriate, compliant charging
- Engage with the local community to strengthen client relationships and access to care

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure in Nevada
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in general small-animal practice; comfort with routine surgery and dentistry
- Interest in pocket pets and select exotics is welcomed
- Strong communication skills; Spanish language ability is a plus
- Leadership aptitude with a commitment to mentorship, collaboration, and medical excellence
