Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist

Position Overview STEPS Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to support the organization’s branding, marketing, and communication initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing visually compelling content across digital and print platforms that reflects our mission, values, and commitment to serving individuals and families in the behavioral health community. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining brand consistency and high design standards. Key Responsibilities Design and produce marketing and communication materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, social media graphics, advertisements, signage, and branded collateral Create engaging digital content for social media, email campaigns, websites, and recruitment initiatives Monitor social media platforms and create/post content accordingly to support engagement, brand awareness, sales and recruitment efforts Maintain and strengthen brand consistency across all internal and external communications Collaborate with leadership, marketing, recruiting, and clinical teams on campaigns and organizational initiatives Plan Marketing Campaigns from inception to completion Prepare production-ready files for both print and digital distribution Support event branding and promotional material creation Update and maintain website content using WordPress Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and organizational priorities Stay current on design trends, behavioral health marketing practices, and creative technologies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Visual Communications, or related field preferred 5 years of professional graphic design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design work across digital and print platforms Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Experience with Canva, Elementor and Wordpress Experience working with WordPress required Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, education, or human services organizations Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and paid social campaigns is a plus Knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing strategies Familiarity with website content management systems and email marketing platforms is a plus Benefits Competitive salary ($65,000–$70,000 based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive and mission-driven team culture About STEPS Behavioral Health STEPS Behavioral Health is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services that empower individuals and families to thrive.
