Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for an outpatient vascular surgery clinic requiring Epic experience and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Job Details

• Outpatient clinic setting within a vascular surgery office,
• Serves adult and geriatric patients who are post-op, needing wound care, vein treatments, and vascular issues,
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hours),
• No weekend requirement,
• May be required to float within scope of practice,

Job Requirements

• Active Virginia State or Compact LPN license required if applicable, pending license accepted only for candidates holding a single-state license from a non-compact state,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required,
• Outpatient clinic experience required,
• Epic charting experience required,
• Phlebotomy, simple dressing changes, wound care/wound vac, wound drains (JP/Hemovac), and vascular surgery experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide patient care including phlebotomy, simple dressing changes, wound care, wound vac management, and care of wound drains,
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2-week period,
• Required to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment, with 2 holidays required during winter holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve/New Year's),
• First-time travelers will be considered,
• Local candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted,
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year break before returning as a traveler,
• Travelers who have worked 365 days on assignment are not eligible to return, regardless of separation period,
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront and are subject to facility approval at time of booking
