Staff Accountant
Stable NJ Distributor seeks a Junior Accountant to join their Team
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Controller during the monthly accounting close process
- Prepare and enter journal entries as required.
- Review and approve AP vouchers
- Process billing on a daily basis.
- Review and process board bills ACH transfers weekly.
- AP and AR back-up
- Prepare bank reconciliations as required.
- Review account analysis for discrepancies.
- File accounting documents.
- Maintain internal and external records retention.
- Update Key Stats Report daily.
- Monthly inventory reviews of Inventory
Qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance Degree.
- 1-2 years' experience
- Prior experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Intermediate Excel desired
