We are looking for a talented Bridge Engineer to deliver projects as part of our Transportation Engineering Group in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are looking for passionate engineers to strengthen our team delivering high-end engineering services to our current and future clients, particularly in the Maritime provinces, but also across Canada.Your Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical design for bridges, culverts, retaining walls and foundation engineering assignmentsAnalysis, design, preparation & delivery of tender packages, visual inspections, report preparation, cost estimating, construction engineering servicesBusiness development and proposal preparationYour Capabilities and CredentialsProven ability to deliver bridge design and analysis projects from start to finishExcellent report writing skillsStrong understanding of Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CSA S6)Familiarity with N.S. Department of Public Works design standards and project delivery is an assetExperience with CSiBridge / SAP2000 / MIDAS Civil / SFrame / AutoCAD and similar software is an assetExperience with DB or P3 projects is an assetAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environmentSelf-motivated with a strong commitment to teamworkEducation and ExperienceP.Eng. designation with Engineers Nova Scotia5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the Bridge Consulting Engineering industryBridge inspection following OSIM, or equivalentTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
