Boyer Children's Clinic is currently seeking a Full‑Time Referral & Intake Support Specialist to join our team! Boyer provides medical, therapy, special education and family services to infants and young children with developmental delays, and their families. For more information, visit The Referral & Intake Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for families during the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) referral and intake process, guiding them through initial enrollment with clarity and compassion. This role works closely with multidisciplinary teams, referral partners, and families to coordinate intake appointments, manage documentation, and support timely access to services. Responsibilities Serve as a welcoming point of contact for families and referral sources Receive referrals and gather required intake information Coordinate intake evaluation appointments and interpreter services Facilitate family enrollment orientations and explain ESIT services and procedural safeguards Prepare and manage intake paperwork and enrollment documentation Maintain accurate electronic records in Raintree and the ESIT Data Management System (DMS) Connect families who are not eligible for ESIT with appropriate community resources Collaborate closely with Family Resource Coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to support smooth transitions into services Position Requirements Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in a related field preferred, or Associate’s Degree/High school diploma with relevant work experience considered Previous work experience in child development and early intervention preferred Demonstrated experience working with multiple professional disciplines Valid Washington State Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable means of transportation Ability to pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check, and FBI fingerprint check Certifications & Licenses Valid Washington State Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and a reliable means of transportation CPR and First Aid Skills & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships Proficient with computers, databases, and electronic records systems Ability to work effectively with diverse families and multidisciplinary professionals Knowledge of child development, medical terminology, and early intervention systems preferred Ability to travel within the service area to meet with families and community partners Compensation Hourly, non‑exempt: $23.15 - $32.88 per hour Benefits Structured orientation with a ramp‑up schedule 37.5 hour workweek with schedule flexibility Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Flexible Spending Account; Health Savings Account (if enrolled in a QHDHP health plan); Basic Life Insurance; AD&D Insurance; Long‑Term Disability Insurance; Voluntary Supplemental Life & AD&D Insurance; 403(b) Plan with discretionary match; 0.462 hours of sick leave per hour worked; 12 paid vacation days; three weeks of paid program closures; 13 paid holidays; four paid Wellness Days; three days paid bereavement leave; up to two weeks paid jury duty leave (unpaid beyond two weeks if needed); continuing education benefits; monthly Cell Phone Reimbursement Work Environment, Physical Demands & Travel Requirements The work environment for this position is primarily office‑based, with some flexibility for remote work as appropriate. Travel requirements include the ability to transport oneself to appointments or between offices as necessary, on a daily basis.
