Automotive Bookkeeper

Job Description A high-volume auto dealership in Nassau County is seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper . Automotive bookkeeping experience is a wonderful plus. This full-time position will offer benefits and a competitive pay plan commensurate with your experience. The Bookkeeper should have strong skills in time management, documentation, and data analysis in addition to maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and developing periodic financial reports that comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive bookkeeping professional with integrity, articulateness and punctuality. Knowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a plus. We seek someone with a proven track record for success who can communicate well with others and take pride in a careful and accurate working style. We prefer a candidate with at least two years of experience in a similar role. Candidates must be detail-oriented, good with numbers, reliable, and dependable. All candidates must pass a background and drug screening at the time of hiring. Full-time employees are eligible for medical coverage after 90 days of employment.
