Associate Projects Engineer - Datalinks

You will collaborate with global teams, project partners, and customers to reliable, high-quality solutions that enable safe, efficient, and innovation operations across North America and beyond.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Provide high-level technical support for datalink configuration, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Design, implement, and support datalink solutions that communicate with the Ovation control system, including associated network architecture and device connectivity. Analyze datalink and network performance to identify trends, prevent systemic issues, and recommend improvements that enhance availability and reliability. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve datalink and network issues, researching and recommending software or hardware enhancements when needed. Maintain proficiency in current and future third-party communication protocols and interfaces. Collaborate with project, proposal, product development, and field service teams, as well as customers to ensure effective execution and clear technical communication. Support the creation and improvement of tools, standards, and processes for datalink configuration and testing. Gather and interpret customer technical specifications to determine optimal datalink implementations aligned with Ovation standards.When required, travel to customer sites to support commissioning or troubleshooting of datalink-related equipment (20% travel).Who You Are:You approach complex technical challenges with curiosity and determination, analyzing problems thoroughly and identifying practical, well‑reasoned solutions.
