Key Qualifications:

• Active Interpreter License for ASL (Spanish interpretation or MSL proficiency highly advantageous)
• Experience in educational settings, especially working 1:1 with K-12 students
• Preference for candidates with bilingual skills (ASL/Spanish)
• Ability to adapt to various learning environments and support diverse communication needs
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a communication bridge for a single middle school student during all academic and school activities
• Facilitate understanding between the student, educators, and peers, adapting to different settings throughout the day
• Prepare for classroom content and collaborate with educators to optimize student participation
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to student privacy regulations
• Work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, attending all required school days
