Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Using cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will facilitate diagnostic processes, partner with a collaborative group of clinicians, and provide peace of mind to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with kindness and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring surgeons to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep up to date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed
