The Communications Manager works closely with the account leadership and Business Operations Teams to support communications, including drafting written collateral, developing account-specific messaging, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment, managing content for newsletters, supporting account-level recognition and cultural engagement efforts.

• Facilitate strong relationships and open communication with brokers, leadership, across departments.

• Strong collaborative leadership skills, including ability to collaborate up, down and across the organization.

• Align and executive on a PR strategy that supports the firm's business objectives, while providing the highest level of client service

• Provides strategy and tactics to achieve objectives and key performance indicators

• Ensure consistency, quality, and usage of best practices in all communications, leveraging traditional and digital media channels

• Boost company's brand awareness, engagement, and thought leadership with best-in-class use of traditional and digital media channels

• Uphold the mission and standards of the company and support firm-wide initiatives

• Crisis management: support Asset Services leadership with all external communications initiatives surrounding sensitive company information and crises

• Identify and build strategic relationships for the company with national, local, and trade media

• Draft and disseminate pitches and press releases for notable transactions, wins, personnel changes, research and company milestones

• Identify and nominate brokers and transactions for relevant award opportunities

• Develop a calendar of paid and non-paid speaking opportunities (conferences and panel discussions) for senior brokers and leadership

• Staff all conferences and panel discussions where media is present

• Develop proactive media relations campaigns around trends and news of the day

• Create and develop sponsored content campaigns

• Develop, draft, and place paid sponsored content articles in relevant publications

• Develop and draft relevant blog posts

• Work with research to publicize the firm's data and look for trend stories to use the data to tell a story

• Use any developed or existing thought leadership content to garner media coverage

• Assist brokers in complying with media and social media policies

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of communications experience in a corporate or agency environment. ?

• Applies analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies

• Proven capabilities supporting C-Suite leadership

• Thorough knowledge of commercial and property management real estate industry

• Ability to effectively influence others to achieve understanding, acceptance, and commitment to act in support of ideas, programs, or causes

• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment

• Ability to independently achieve successful outcomes on all executed activities with minimal supervision

• Superior organization and time management and project management skills

• Ability to draw upon the analysis and make recommendations that have a direct impact on the company

• Accountable for delivering key performance indicators; using dashboard to track media engagement

• Prior experience implementing communications and PR strategies

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

• Proven ability to understand, synthesize, and reorganize complex information

• Ability to work effectively, efficiently and independently in a deadline-driven and dynamic office environment

• Experience developing and nurturing online audiences

• Ability to work with high-level executives and revenue producers

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 115,552.40 - $135,944.00
