Job Description

We're hiring an Account Manager to grow our core Northern California / Bay Area territory. This is one of our most established markets, and you'll be selling both 101VOICE and ITMC into school districts, municipalities, public agencies, higher education institutions, and healthcare organizations where we already have a strong presence.

This is a high-touch, full-portfolio role. You'll represent both the UCaaS and voice solutions side of the business, as well as the VAR side, including network infrastructure and physical security solutions. In-person customer visits and site work are an important part of the role, so you'll need to be based in the territory and able to meet with customers regularly.

What You Will Sell

• 101VOICE UCaaS, VoIP, and Hosted PBX
• SIP, mobility, and unified communication solutions
• CCaaS and advanced call center solutions
• Network infrastructure and physical security (ITMC / VAR business)
• Secure voice and infrastructure integration
• ARVOS Push-to-Talk for critical and field communication across education, transportation, government, and public services

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy for Northern California / Bay Area
• Identify, qualify, and close both new business and expansion within existing accounts
• Build relationships with IT leaders, administrators, and decision-makers
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
• Lead discovery, solution design discussions, and executive presentations
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and forecasting
• Navigate RFPs, purchasing cooperatives, and procurement frameworks (CMAS, SPURR, USCTPA)
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regional meetings

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecom, UCaaS, or cloud communication sales experience 
• Proven experience selling into State, Local Government, Education, or Healthcare
• Demonstrated ability to generate and close net-new business, and to grow existing accounts
• Comfortable managing a complex, consultative sales cycle (30–90+ days)
• Track record of meeting or exceeding quota
• Able to work in-territory and conduct in-person customer visits

Preferred Experience

• SLED experience is a strong plus (not required if telecom/UCaaS background is solid)
• Experience with public sector contracts, cooperatives, or framework agreements
• Knowledge of E-Rate, CTF, or public funding models
• Familiarity with MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar methodologies
• Existing relationships in the SLED ecosystem
