Commercial Property Accountant
Fresno, CA | $25/hour | Full-Time


Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Accountant for a well-established property management company in Fresno. This position is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of commercial properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, tenant billings, and monthly financial reporting.


This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple sets of books and properties simultaneously .
Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Complete bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting
• Prepare and process tenant billings
• Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reports
• Maintain accurate property and tenant accounting data
• Assist with annual property budgets
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Work closely with property management and other departments
• Assist with special accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or comparable accounting experience
• Experience managing multiple sets of books
• Strong experience with AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end financial reporting
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Property management or commercial real estate accounting experience is highly preferred
• Yardi experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• High level of integrity and professionalism
