Maintenance Technician – 2nd ShiftDirect hire | Little Canada, MN | $30 - $40/hour - Shift differential includedHours: 2:45 PM – 11:00 AMPosition OverviewThis off-shift maintenance role focuses on ensuring the safe and reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems during overnight operations. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and with limited supervision to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a plastics production environment.This position supports blow molding equipment and related systems, requiring strong electromechanical skills and sound decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipmentSupport overnight production by responding quickly to equipment downtimePerform preventive and corrective maintenance during scheduled downtime windowsTest and verify equipment repairs to ensure safe and proper operationPerform fabrication work, including welding and machining as requiredAssist with equipment installations and process improvementsMaintain facility systems and building infrastructureDocument maintenance activities and completed work ordersFollow all safety, GMP, and quality standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferredAbility to work independently and prioritize work with minimal supervisionStrong electromechanical troubleshooting skillsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systemsPLC troubleshooting experience is a plusBlow molding or injection molding experience preferredFabrication skills (welding/machining) a plusBenefits401(k), medical, and dental insurancePaid holidaysShort-term and long-term disabilitySafety shoe and tool reimbursementPaid training on the day shift before transitionKonik is an equal-opportunity employer.
