Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Agility Peak, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation processes by:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and symptoms to establish personalized treatment plans.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and designing effective therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Employing a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to facilitate recovery.
• Educating patients and their families on exercise techniques, mobility strategies, and in-home care alternatives to enhance rehabilitation.
• Utilizing equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers to help advance patients toward mobility goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes to ensure ongoing communication and care refinement.
• Regularly collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and other health professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will encompass a diverse range of patients, from children to adults facing varying physical challenges. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, and those needing assistance in improving mobility and strength. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent program; a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid and active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, their families, and health care team members.
• Competence in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
• A flexible and adaptable mindset, essential for handling diverse patient needs and varying work environments.

Preferred Experience
