Senior Project Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting multiple federal contracts, the full-time Senior Project Accountant will manage full lifecycle project accounting, including project setup, billing, and compliance, while working in a hybrid telecommute model from Reston, VA. Key responsibilities Manage full lifecycle project accounting for a portfolio of government contracts Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices and ensure compliance with GAAP and contract terms Monitor contract funding, ceilings, and burn rates, proactively notifying stakeholders of variances Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of project accounting experience in the GovCon industry Hands-on experience with Unanet or Deltek Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and government billing requirements Experience with WAWF or other federal invoicing platforms
