About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to provide both strategic and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's strategy, programs, fundraising, financial stewardship, staff leadership, advocacy, and external partnerships. This role involves partnering closely with the Board of Directors, leading and developing staff, ensuring that programs effectively meet the needs of the community, and leading fundraising efforts across various channels. The Executive Director will also serve as a spokesperson and advocate, guide advocacy initiatives, and ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and standards. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 10 years of progressive nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong preference for those who have previously held senior leadership roles. Experience in a mission-driven organization related to healthcare, human services, patient advocacy, or disability services is also strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, solid financial acumen, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement. Excellent communication, relationship-building skills, and a mission-oriented, collaborative leadership style are essential for this role.
