SI Quality Manager (G-Project)

Position SI Quality Manager – Supervisor: Senior Director, Operations Department: Quality Location: Houston or relocation as required Responsibilities Plan, develop, and operate the quality organization; propose organizational changes. Ensure implementation of quality procedures and methods specified by the customer. Measure, report, and fulfill quality goals specified by the customer(s); ensure fulfillment of customer requirements. Maintain smooth operation of quality areas and tools related to production. Lead junior managers, engineers, and colleagues working in SQA, Material Review Board (MRB), Incoming Quality (IQA), and OBA areas. Cooperate actively with fellow departments. Participate in the implementation of company‑level projects. Continuously develop tools and processes related to the quality area. Represent the QA area in professional forums and meetings of Foxconn. Participate in daily operations and intervene when necessary. Evaluate and develop subordinates. Communicate with key stakeholders, including Global Quality, MSFT representatives, and SI Management Team. Lead and communicate escalated quality incidents. Environmental Protection As a regional manager, you are responsible for understanding and minimizing environmental risks in your area, following ISO 14001 system instructions, and reporting any damage. You will work with the environmental engineer on these tasks. Occupational & Fire Safety As a regional manager, you are responsible for identifying occupational and fire safety risks in your area, reducing these risks, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations and fire protection regulations. You will cooperate with the occupational and fire safety specialist. Scope Management : Order work, grant leave, evaluate work performed, provide instructions to subordinates. Represent the company before customers and authorities. Professional : Inform the organization about customer needs. Approve customer audit reports and purchase requests for the quality department. Case Management Duplicate Entry Repaired : Approve customer audit reports and purchase requests for the quality department. Authority Decision‑making on quality issues related to products and production processes. Opinion‑making within the scope of authority for subordinate employees. Proposing issues related to the operation of the company. Job Specification Qualifications / Experience College or university degree. 5 years of professional experience. 3 years of managerial experience. Primary Skills / Competencies Negotiation‑level English language skills. User‑level knowledge of MS Office. Good communication and leadership skills. Initiative and self‑motivation.
