REGISTERED NURSE (MM PAV 11 - Coronary Medicine/Structural Heart )

Responsibilities Nurses will utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to the complex medicine patient population who may require telemetry monitoring. Nurses complete a 6-10 week orientation including classes on basic arrhythmias and electrophysiology. Our RN staff and non‑licensed technical staff provide highly skilled nursing care to our patients in an atmosphere that values individual diversity and uniqueness. Required Qualifications GN applicants will be considered. Current Michigan RN license for all candidates that have passed the NCLEX. Graduate Nurse candidate has 45 days from hire date to pass the NCLEX for Michigan RN licensure. Desired Qualifications BSN Previous patient care experience or relevant skills. No lifting restrictions. Familiarity with UMHS policies and procedures. Demonstrated positive, effective professional communication skills as documented on recent performance evaluations. Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills.
