Aerotek is HIRING NOW for Quality Control Inspectors in Merritt Island, FL!! Pay: Up to $26/hour, depending on experience Schedule: MondayFriday, Day Shift, 5AM - 3PM

We are seeking an experienced Quality professional to support inspection, calibration, and quality management activities in a manufacturing environment focused on machined and welded components. This role combines hands-on shop floor inspections, CMM operation, calibration management, and quality systems support to ensure products meet customer and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined and welded components to verify conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, torque tools, indicators, and gauge blocks.
• Operate Zeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software to inspect parts and document results.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing, machining, or fabrication environment.
• Experience with calibration processes and measurement equipment.
• Proficiency using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, torque tools, and gauge blocks.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality environment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Understanding of calibration standards and measurement systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Merritt Island, FL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
