Job Summary: This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive and engaging onboarding program. This role will also create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees. This position will also provide support for the Human Resource Department and the CEO.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· This role involves designing, developing, and implementing an onboarding program for all employees.

· Analyzing current onboarding practices and identifying areas for improvement and make recommendations to the SVP of Human Resources.

· Developing a curriculum and resources covering company culture, policies, benefits, and job-specific training for all positions.

· Implementing approaches such as mentorship programs, technology solutions, and feedback mechanisms to enhance the onboarding experience.

· Determine the training techniques to be used for the training of new employees.

· Plan and provides training to the workforce and manage and develop the training program.

· Searching for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety among staff.

· Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance the training procedures while providing value to employees.

· Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.

· Responsible for recruiting including placing job advertisements with online sources, college placement offices and government agencies.

· Reviews and recommends applicants for positions; conducts phone screens and schedules personal interview dates, times and location.

· Collaborate with the hiring manager and make recommendations regarding the candidates based on their skills, experience, and how they would fit with the organization.

· Provides support to the SVP of HR with all benefit matters to include processing employee enrollments, changes and terminations, auditing, reconciling and processing all department invoices.

· Processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis, keeping up with all employee changes.

· Prepares bi-weekly and monthly payroll reports.

· Assist with the processing and balancing of all department expenses and invoices.

· All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Banking or Credit Union experiencer preferred.

· Keeps confidential data and is able to distinguish when and to whom data can be discussed.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Will need to be flexible with the schedule for certain projects.

· Professional and courteous demeanor.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office Products, Word/Excel and Power Point.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment: May lift up to 25 lbs.; Office work- must be able to use a PC and phone; hearing and sight are required to perform this job; may need to sit or stand for long periods of time in front of a computer. Must have a valid driver’s license to travel between branch locations.
