Financial Reporting Manager

Financial Reporting Manager / Financial Controller | Dallas


We are working with a growing private oil & gas company looking to add a key member to its accounting team.


This is broader than a traditional financial reporting role. You'll work across multiple funds and operating entities, gaining exposure to different reporting frameworks, including ASC 946 investment company accounting and cost basis accounting.


The role will have hands-on involvement with:


• Quarterly and annual financial statements


• Multi-entity accounting and consolidations


• GAAP, close and internal controls


• Audit and outside tax advisor support


• Acquisition accounting, due diligence and purchase price allocations


• Partnership with Accounting, Operations and A&D


Ideal background is 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public accounting, E&P experience, or a PE-backed environment. CPA preferred or actively pursuing.
