Work Environment

Located in a vibrant and healthcare-focused area of Los Angeles, our clinic is fully onsite to provide hands-on treatment in a collaborative setting. The clinic is structured to host a steady flow of patients, allowing for substantial interaction among professionals and fostering a supportive learning environment. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, our clinic aims to balance a productive schedule with a focus on patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to effectively assess individual mobility issues and rehabilitative needs.
• Collaborate with patients to set realistic rehabilitation goals that empower them to achieve optimal function.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality time is dedicated to each patient.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based intervention techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Develop and modify personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing motion, strength, and mobility while focusing on cost-effective care.
• Minimize dependence on pharmacological interventions by promoting non-invasive treatment options and lifestyle changes.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment in an electronic medical records (EMR) system, such as WebPT, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Foster an encouraging atmosphere by motivating patients during sessions and providing educational resources to enhance their understanding of recovery.
• Engage in regular discussions with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and address any interdisciplinary concerns.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adapt strategies as necessary, maintaining open lines of communication with patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering tailored outpatient orthopedic care. The population includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical repairs, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our commitment to personalized care means every patient's treatment plan is specifically designed to match their physical challenges and life goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California with no reported disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and expertise in developing exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, with experience using WebPT being a significant advantage.
• Effective communication skills, demonstrating the ability to explain complex information to patients clearly.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred, allowing for a seamless transition into our clinic.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both individual and group therapy settings, showcasing versatility in treatment delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
