Work Environment

You will work Monday to Friday, specifically from 2 PM to 8 PM, in an atmosphere that fosters teamwork and communication. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy care, managing the therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Oversee and provide physical therapy services throughout the continuum of care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and legal standards.
• Utilize assessment techniques to evaluate patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional statuses, contributing meaningfully to comprehensive care plans.
• Engage patients in their therapy by employing skilled techniques and exercises, and provide instruction on the proper use of therapeutic devices and appliances.
• Prioritize patient caseload and coordinate assignments among team members to ensure effective workflow and optimal patient care.
• Document patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will serve a diverse patient population, including adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and rehabilitation from fractures. Additionally, pediatric patients with musculoskeletal issues will also benefit from your expertise. You will be instrumental in guiding these patients through their recovery processes, assessing their needs, and ensuring a customized approach to care that enhances their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the ability to obtain within your first month of employment.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Although no prior experience is required, an eagerness to learn from experienced professionals and an affinity for orthopedic care will be beneficial.
• Experience with evidence-based practice in physical therapy is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Our offerings include:
