Position Summary

The Inside Sales / Telemarketing Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting sales growth through proactive outbound prospecting and exceptional customer service. This position develops new customer relationships by making approximately 50 outbound calls per day, qualifying leads, preparing quotations, processing orders, and maintaining ongoing communication with customers. The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, attention to detail, and the ability to achieve established sales goals in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Generation

• Make approximately 50 outbound calls per day to prospective and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify potential customers.
• Deliver professional sales presentations by phone, explaining products, pricing, and services.
• Follow up on leads generated through marketing efforts, referrals, customer inquiries, and previous sales contacts.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Sales Administration & Documentation

· Enter customer orders accurately into company systems.

· Maintain customer records, sales activities, quotations, and follow-up notes in CRM software.

· Track customer communications and maintain organized sales documentation.

· Provide regular sales activity updates to management.

Business Development

• Identify new market opportunities and potential customers.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for increasing sales and expanding the customer base.
• Participate in sales campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales and business development team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, customer service, or a related sales role.
• Experience making approximately 50 or more outbound sales/prospecting calls per day required.
• Proven experience with cold calling, lead generation, and closing sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word required).
• Experience using CRM or sales management software preferred.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance goals.
