Air Distribution Technologies is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to support our manufacturing operations at our Ponca City, Oklahoma facility, part of the Air Systems Components (ASC) business segment. This role is a hands-on, floor-focused leadership position responsible for shift-level execution across safety, quality, delivery, and people leadership. The Production Supervisor leads multiple production lines or work cells, ensures shift readiness, and drives daily performance through disciplined use of Lean principles, standard work, and key manufacturing metrics.

The successful candidate will serve as a frontline leader who translates production goals into clear expectations, owns accountability for results, and partners cross-functionally to ensure on-time, in-full delivery while maintaining a strong safety and quality culture.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and supervise hourly production employees across multiple lines or work cells on the 2nd shift.
• Own daily execution of production plans, staffing alignment, and shift readiness activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies; conduct safety talks, reinforce safe work practices, and lead immediate response to safety concerns or near-miss events.
• Drive quality at the source by shifting ownership to operators, ensuring standard work compliance and proactive quality assurance within the cell.
• Monitor and manage shift performance using KPIs such as production output, scrap, First Pass Yield, attendance, downtime, and takt adherence.
• Execute real-time problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for production, quality, or equipment issues.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Inventory, and Shipping to support OTIF performance.
• Ensure accurate floor-level transactions in the ERP/MRP system, including labor reporting, production confirmations, and inventory movements.
• Coach, train, and develop employees through performance feedback, accountability, cross-training, and standardized work.
• Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, flow balancing, and waste elimination.
• Conduct effective shift handoffs and communication to ensure continuity between shifts.

What We're Looking For:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a Lead, Trainer, or Supervisory role.
• Experience leading production teams in a fabrication, welding, assembly, or engineered-to-order manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and standard work.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions at the line or cell level.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for shop floor transactions; MACPAC/AS400 experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety practices and general ISO quality system awareness.

Preferred:

• Lean or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
• Experience leading mid-size manufacturing operations with 20–40 direct reports.
• Familiarity with OEE, MES dashboards, or real-time production performance tracking.
• Proven success driving scrap reduction, productivity improvements, and attendance reliability.

Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily in a manufacturing plant setting. This role requires regular presence on the production floor and may involve prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Employees may be exposed to moving machinery, loud noise levels, welding operations, and material handling equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas.
