Board Certified Behavior Analyst

The primary function of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of individual clients.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Use appropriate assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs that reflect behavioral outcomes and objectives
• Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare and complete reports as required
• Provide staff development, training, and modeling for team members in strategies and methodologies for successful implementation of the treatment plan
• Participate in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings
• Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention certification as a trainer
• Consult with districts on behavior supports and plans
• Provide ongoing support for students
• Write and maintain positive behavior support plans
• Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum student progress
• Attend staff meetings as scheduled
• Develop and conduct staff trainings
• Collaborate with other BCBAs and the leadership team
• Remain current on new research and developments in behavior analysis
• Accept all other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Masters in Psychology, Education, Special Education or related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Ohio Department of Education Certification or Registration
• Must comply with Ohio Revised Code 3319.39 Criminal Records Check
• Must pass a drug screen at time of hire and comply with the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988
