Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement

Partnering with the Best As a Lead Sourcing Specialist – Buying/Procurement, you manage the end‑to‑end buying process for a defined set of goods. You apply sourcing policies, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure alignment with specifications and budgets. You drive procurement execution, resolve issues, and support cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless operations. You contribute to projects, influence sourcing strategies, and drive improvements in procurement processes within a complex organizational environment. Responsibilities Placing purchase orders and following up on execution with suppliers. Managing supplier relationships and resolving issues related to delivery, quality, and scheduling. Updating ERP systems and ensuring accurate procurement data management. Advising functional managers and cross‑functional teams on sourcing processes and procedures. Communicating with stakeholders to resolve complex procurement challenges. Leading medium‑sized sourcing projects or contributing significantly to larger initiatives. Supporting implementation of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Driving improvements in procurement processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Have minimum 3 years of experience in Buying, Procurement, or Sourcing, preferably in Oil & Gas or a similar industrial sector. Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others. Have experience leading initiatives of moderate scope and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. Have strong problem identification and solution skills. Have strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
