Job Description This position starts as a temp-to-hire opportunity and has pathways to promote to a permanent role in quality. The position requires Position Summary The Quality Inspector is a hands‑on, entry‑level role supporting daily Quality Control operations. This position is responsible for inspecting products, collecting and recording quality data, and supporting the evaluation of returns and field issues. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to build a career in quality, manufacturing, or product safety, with exposure to real‑world QC systems, high‑volume operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities – Inspection & Quality Control Perform visual and basic functional inspections on incoming materials, finished goods, and returned products (RMA) Identify, document, and elevate defects or non‑conformances Data Collection & Reporting Accurately record inspection results in internal systems and reports Support tracking and trending of quality issues, including returns and customer complaints Returns (RMA) & Failure Analysis Support Assist in evaluation and categorization of returned products Support root cause identification and data collection for recurring issues Documentation & Compliance Maintain organized and accurate quality records in accordance with document control requirements Follow established SOPs, work instructions, and safety standards Inventory & Operational Support Assist in managing QC sample inventory and parts organization Support high‑volume workflows tied to drop‑ship and fulfillment operations Performance Expectations (NEW – Important) Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in inspections and data entry Meet daily/weekly inspection volume targets Support timely processing of RMA units and QC evaluations Contribute to reducing defect rates and improving product quality feedback loops Qualifications – Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s degree or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or related field Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow standardized procedures consistently Basic problem‑solving and analytical thinking Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Team‑oriented with strong communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Technical Skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with data entry or inventory systems is a plus Growth Opportunity (NEW – Important for Hiring) This role provides a pathway into: Quality Control Specialist / Technician QA / Compliance roles Product Testing & Validation Supply Chain / Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
