Event Management and Facilities Intern Position Number: G/R23680P. Position Summary Temporary, hourly professional position in the Athletics-Event Management department. Job Responsibilities Hiring and supervising student staff On‑site event management of selected sports Scheduling staff for various athletic events Assisting full‑time facility staff with set‑up/break‑down of home athletic events Contacting visiting teams and officials Creating and/or updating athletic operations manuals Coordinating and guiding tours of Athletic Association facilities Managing special events and rentals Assisting staff with facility maintenance and projects Performing day‑to‑day office duties Physical Demands Normal working conditions of an office environment. Driving is required.
