Experienced Medical Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Front Office/Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This is a full time position with an immediate opening. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be available to work some closing shifts, weekends and some holidays. Responsibilities: (Include, but not limited to) * Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner * Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff * Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures * Escort patients to exam rooms * Verify Insurance * Answer Phone calls * Assist with Back office * Injections * Blood Draws * Ear Lavages * EKGS * Rapid Testing * UA's and Pregnancy Testing * COVID Testing * Assist provider with procedures * Scanning and attaching documents * Collect patient copays * Clean Instruments * Sterilize exam rooms and work stations * Perform audits * Review SB's * Be able to lift 22 lbs Qualifications: * Previous experience in healthcare preferred * Familiarity with medical billing procedures * Strong organizational skills * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Familiar with medical terminology * CPT Codes familiarity * Excellent Communication skills (Both written and Verbal) * Bilingual a plus We offer both full time and part time positions.
