This role is also responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.Primary ResponsibilitiesCalculate, review and process journal entries and balance sheet/account reconciliation in preparation for month-end and/or quarter-end processingPosting daily cash activitiesEvaluate transactions and record to the GL as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and completeCompile and analyze complex accounting information to provide management with accounting information necessary to make critical business decisionsRecommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysesPerform other job-related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree plus three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceTwo years of demonstrated full-cycle accounting experienceTwo years of demonstrated experience of accounting principles and GL systemsPhysical DemandsPhysical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machinePhysical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stoopingMay require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbsEEO StatementSouthern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
