Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin, providing comprehensive home-health care, including assessment, wound care, medication management, and patient education. The role supports case management, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and maintains a caseload of 5–6 visits per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their home environment, including assessment, wound care, medication management, and patient education.
• Document patient interactions accurately using Epic EMR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary team members through standard communication pathways to coordinate patient care.
• Manage caseload effectively, prioritizing visits to meet patient needs and maintain productivity goals of 5–6 visits per day.
• Support floating or assisting other teams within the designated coverage area as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing
• Active RN license in Wisconsin
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1+ year nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Wound care experience
• Medication management experience
• Ability to work independently in field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to float or assist other teams within coverage area
• Professional attire
• Strong communication skills
• Adaptability to dynamic home health settings

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience preferred
• OASIS documentation experience preferred
