Corporate Relationship Specialist

Job Description At Regions, the Corporate Relationship Specialist provides general administrative and sales support to Corporate Relationship Managers and renders an extraordinarily high level of services to corporate bank clients. Primary Responsibilities Acts as the primary point of contact for Corporate Banking clients and manages all servicing requests related to the client’s overall banking relationship. Performs daily support activities related to client relationships and keeps the respective Relationship Managers (RMs) informed of client activity and interactions, as appropriate. Maintains data integrity for the overall portfolio ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Effectively communicates internally and externally to resolve client issues and concerns. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing, fast‑paced environment. Supports the Relationship Manager(s) with miscellaneous administrative tasks. Proactively identifies and executes process improvements to enhance client experience and deal team effectiveness. Assists with event execution, special projects and pitch books. Deposits: Collaborates with RM to determine best deposit solutions. Opens/Closes new deposit products. Collects, reviews, and scans necessary KYC documents. Works closely with Treasury Management (TM) Team to onboard new clients. Provides guidance to deposit clients and routes to appropriate TM resource for servicing. Pulls daily Non‑Sufficient Funds (NSF/Overdrafts). Processes deposit account maintenance. Completes deposit account research and requests. Works closely with Branches to ensure corporate clients are onboarded with ongoing client servicing. Credits/Loans: Acts as liaison between Credit Products Underwriting, Corporate Loan Fulfillment and the Relationship Management teams. Conducts and assists in loan due diligence including collecting documentation and recordkeeping. Assists with due diligence and application for letter of credit closing (new, renewal, modification). Assists in clearing Post‑Closing Loan Documentation Exceptions. Processes loan payments. Processes subsequent advances on lines of credit. Compliance/Regulatory: Maintains data integrity in all applicable systems. Creates account record in OneView to serve as client CIP form. Collects client information on all applicable parties and entities. Obtains and reviews entity documentation for all applicable clients/parties to transaction. Completιes Beneficial Ownership (BO) Certification Forms. Follows all appropriate procedures for properties located in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Reporting: Manages data organization within RGA to ensure client records are properly grouped for accurate 360 reporting. Compiles reports for Relationship Manager(s) such as 360 Report, Power BI Reports, OneView Pipeline Report, Overdrafts Report, Maturities, Past Due and Exception Reporting. May guide and/or train less experienced Corporate Relationship Specialists. This position requires tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Requirements High School Diploma or GED and six (6) or more years general banking experience. Or, a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years banking or client support experience. Preferences Bachelor’s Degree. Skills and Competencies Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management while understanding confidentiality to sensitive information. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners. Demonstrated ability to independently identify goals, prioritize tasks and execute tasks to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing, fast‑paced environment. Demonstrates administrative experience, time management and troubleshooting skills. Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments. Proficient in MS Office. Proactively seeks opportunities to execute tasks effectively; without direct supervision. Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision. Strong organization skills and able to think analytically. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job. Minimum: $53,025.00 USD. Median: $66,832.50 USD. This job is not incentive eligible.
