Staffing Coordinator

As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our esteemed organization's mission to provide rehabilitation and healing in a state-of-the-art setting. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining master schedules, employee records, and supporting employee recruitment and onboarding processes. Additionally, you will create and update job ads, track applicants, and perform background checks, schedule interviews, and complete the onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests

• Create and maintain master schedules and employee records

• Create and update job ads, track applicants, and perform background checks

• Schedule interviews, complete the onboarding process, and coordinate orientation, in-services, and corporate compliance mandates

• Support other assigned functions

Requirements:

• Experience as an HR Coordinator or Nursing Home/Health field experience (a plus)

• Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations

• Effective people management skills

• Good understanding of HR functions and best practices

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
