We are currently seeking skilled Bridge Carpenters for ongoing heavy civil and bridge construction projects in Lakeland, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity for dependable, experienced carpenters looking for steady work.

Job Responsibilities

• Build, set, and strip concrete forms for bridge and heavy civil construction
• Construct bridge decks, abutments, piers, retaining walls, and other concrete structures
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Install wood and metal forms
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing as needed
• Work safely at heights and around heavy equipment
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous bridge carpentry or heavy civil construction experience required
• Experience with concrete formwork strongly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings
• Experience with forming bridge decks, columns, walls, piers, or abutments
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a construction crew
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
