Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure to practice as an SLP in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship (CF)
• Previous experience in school settings or working with children on the autism spectrum (ASD) highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
• Passion for supporting diverse student needs in an inclusive school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person speech-language therapy services to students in ASD programs
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals
• Document progress and collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families to ensure cohesive student support
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, assessments, and ongoing development
• Offer professional guidance and resources to classroom staff for integrating communication support in daily routines
