This role does not involve commercial trucking or 18-wheeler litigation. The ideal candidate enjoys litigation, courtroom advocacy, and taking ownership of cases from filing through trial.Position: Personal Injury Litigation AttorneyLocation: Houston, TX | 100% In-OfficeSalary: up to $200K + benefits and generous bonusesResponsibilities:Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolutionHandle passenger vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bite, and other non-commercial injury claimsDraft pleadings, motions, and discoveryConduct depositions and prepare witnessesAttend mediations, hearings, and court appearancesNegotiate settlements when appropriatePrepare cases for trialWork closely with clients throughout the litigation processQualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar3+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experienceStrong settlement negotiation skillsExperience communicating with insurance carriers and adjustersFilevine experience preferredExcellent client communication and organizational skills
