Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health statuses through initial assessments, interviews, and diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices tailored to specific client needs.
• Provide regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that foster behavioral change and emotional healing.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress through Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and community services, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, addressing barriers to care and providing resources to support their psychological and emotional well-being.
• Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops and seminars to enhance your clinical practice.
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings to review case challenges and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with a committed and diverse group of clients will be fundamental to their recovery journeys, contributing to improved outcomes in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in treating a variety of disorders.
• Comprehensive understanding of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity for effective, calm decision-making in high-stress scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong ability to navigate technology in clinical practice.
• Commitment to ethical boundaries, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with underrepresented populations and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
• Proven track record of delivering both individual and group therapy sessions in various settings.
• Background in providing teletherapy services and familiarity with virtual engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
